A Word from Mrs. Brownell……
Welcome to the 2009/10 school year and the Kahler website. Kahler’s theme this year is “Earth Day……Every Day”. We are dedicating this school year to the environment and Kahler will be doing its part to recycle and become earth friendly. We will be looking at our daily activities and implement procedures to reduce waste. The teachers are already planning projects in their classrooms to help children develop environmental awareness. We welcome all constructive comments to help us become environmentally responsible. We will certainly be keeping you informed of our progress.
At Kahler, we continually strive to increase our student participation. Active students are happy students and generally do better academically, so please encourage your student to be involved in a new activity this year. There is a list contained on this website of activities that we have at Kahler.
If your child needs academic help, please do not hesitate to use our Math and English labs. Math and English labs are scheduled at all grade levels---5th to 8th. If you find that more intense help is necessary, feel free to contact your child's counselor or teacher(s).
Hopefully you will find this website a useful tool. The staff attempts to keep it updated with pertinent information for you, but if you have any questions, please feel free to email myself or a staff member.
